We went to Danang in July 2012. It's happy time I have with my family. Because we don't have so much money, we choose the train to go from Hanoi to Danang.

For long trips, the train is the cheapest means of transport and safest in my country. You can buy the ticket from 700 000 vnd for Hanoi to Danang and 900 000 vnd for Hanoi to Saigon. Tickets are usually sold out early, you should buy tickets 1 week before your trip start.
My parents, they don't have much trip together.
2. Danang
After leave the train, I waved taxi for go to hotel. In Danang, the driver is so friendly, you can't meet them in Hanoi. Hotel's price is not expensive, about 300 000 vnd ~ 15$ for one night, 4 peoples.
